About East Nusa Tenggara<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Recently, Talasi was privileged to have the East Nusa Tenggara Province celebrating its anniversary at our estate: <\/span>Talasi @ Weetabula<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The province of East Nusa Tenggara has a rich history dating back to the pre-colonial period. It was initially home to a number of indigenous communities, including the Bima and Sumba peoples, who have lived in the region for centuries. Today, East Nusa Tenggara is a diverse and culturally rich region, with a mix of traditional and modern influences. It is home to a number of cultural festivals and events, as well as beautiful natural landscapes, including beaches, mountains, and forests.<\/span><\/p>\n

Every year on the 20th of December, East Nusa Tenggara celebrates its anniversary, in which we had the pleasure to be involved this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Governor and Regent\u2019s Visit to Our Estate<\/strong><\/h3>\n

For the occasion, the Governor of East Nusa Tenggara, the Regent, and several local government officials visited our estate at Weetabula. They were greeted by our team and given a tour of the estate. The governor and officials were impressed by the beauty of our estate and expressed their appreciation for the contribution we are making to the local economy. They also praised our commitment to sustainability and the community.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

During this visit, several MOUs were signed between Talasi, the local government, and Bank NTT. This will allow us to collaborate on various projects and initiatives in the region. These MOUs mark a significant milestone in our partnership with the government of East Nusa Tenggara and we are excited to see what the future holds for our collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Anniversary Celebration<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Suffice it to say, the celebration of East Nusa Tenggara’s anniversary at Talasi Estate at Weetabula was a festive occasion. The day began with warm greetings from us and a tour of our beautiful estate. All the guests had the opportunity to see for themselves the various works that we do here with the community, including what we do at our cashew, citronella, and coffee factories.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

After the tour, there was a series of discussions, in which various topics related to the development and progress of East Nusa Tenggara were raised. These discussions were followed by the signing of several MOUs between Talasi and various stakeholders.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a memorable and enjoyable day, and everyone left feeling uplifted and inspired by what we’ve done and the limitless collaborative potential between Talasi and the government of East Nusa Tenggara in the future.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

At our estate, we produce a variety of products, including cashew, coffee, and citronella, with the local community, employing ethical farming practices based on our <\/span>Five Es Theory<\/span><\/a>. The cashew and coffee are grown using environmentally-friendly farming practices and are known for their high quality and distinctive flavor. The citronella, on the other hand, is used in the production of essential oils and is highly sought after for its medicinal and aromatherapy properties.<\/span><\/p>\n

The estate also provides sustainable and fair employment, as well as training opportunities for the local community, helping to promote economic development and social cohesion. Overall, Talasi Estate at Weetabula is a testament to the natural and cultural wealth of Sumba and East Nusa Tenggara.<\/span><\/p>\n
